Catherine Tannahill BDS MFGDP(UK)
GDC No 69436
Catherine qualified in Manchester in 1993 and has worked in various practices, including nine years in a private practice in York. She gained her MFGD(UK) qualification in 1997. Catherine joined the practice in 2006, whilst also working as a part-time clinical tutor at the Leeds Dental Institute.
Having attending numerous postgraduate courses, particularly Paul Tipton’s restorative and aesthetic courses in Manchester, Catherine has a particular interest in creating beautiful smiles . She has attended various facial aesthetics courses and since 2005 has been qualified to administer facial rejuvenation and wrinkle reduction treatments to provide the full smile makeover.
Catherine is an associate member of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Chris Fuzzard BChD
GDC No 76010
Chris qualified from Leeds University in 1999, since then he has worked around Yorkshire and joined the practice in 2002.
Chris continues his professional development by attending various postgraduate courses and is particularly interested in Orthodontics and Endodontics.
Chris lives with his wife and son in York.
Piotr Kapica LEK DENT
GDC No 84185
Piotr qualified from Katowice University gaining his professional dental qualifications in 1996 and working as a dentist in the south of Poland for another eight years. During this period he also travelled for extended periods around Australia, New Zealand, the American continent and Asia.
Piotr moved to England in early 2005 working first as a dental surgeon for a busy practice in York. Piotr lives in York and has worked with The Smile Rooms since September 2007. He enjoys photography and rock climbing, both excellent opportunities to appreciate the fine Yorkshire landscapes.
His professional interests within dentistry are cosmetics and prosthetics.
Andy Tannahill BDS
GDC No 69472
Andy qualified from Manchester University in 1993 and has worked as a partner in his practice in Scarborough ever since. He has completed various postgraduate courses and has been accepted to study for a Dental Diploma in Implantology at The Royal College of Surgeons in London.

Nicola Hitching
GDC No 185422
Nicola joined us in 2010, in a new role as a Dental Therapist. Nicola graduated from Leeds University in 2009 with a dual qualification in Dental Hygiene and Therapy.
Kerry Slater, Dental hygienist
GDC No 5596
Kerry has worked in dentistry since 1989; firstly as a dental nurse and then she qualified as a dental hygienist at Newcastle in 1999.
She joined the practice in June 2006.
Kerry attends regular courses and meetings as part of her continuing professional development.
Kerry is married and enjoys sport including running and more recently triathlon.
